NPK 18-18-18 is a high-concentration and balanced compound fertilizer. Due to its equal content of the three main nutrients, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, it is also commonly known as a "general-purpose fertilizer" or "balanced fertilizer".
N-P-K: Represents three essential macronutrients for plants in fertilizers.
N (nitrogen) 18% : Mainly promotes the growth of plant stems and leaves, making them lush and green. It is an important component of proteins and chlorophyll.
P (phosphorus) 18% : Mainly promotes root development, flower bud differentiation and fruit ripening. It can enhance the stress resistance of plants (such as cold resistance and drought resistance).

Blended fertilizer: Also known as BB fertilizer, it is made by physically mixing granular single fertilizers or compound fertilizers (such as urea, monoammonium phosphate, potassium chloride, etc.). Its advantages are flexible formulas and relatively low production costs.
Balanced nutrition: The proportion of the three core elements is balanced (1:1:1), which can simultaneously meet the multi-faceted needs of crop nutritional growth (growing branches and leaves) and reproductive growth (flowering and fruiting), and is less likely to cause excessive growth or nutrient deficiency due to an overabundance of a certain element.
High concentration and quick fertilizer effect: The total nutrient content is as high as 54%, making it a high-concentration compound fertilizer. Usually, fast-acting raw materials are adopted, which can be absorbed and utilized by plants relatively quickly.
Wide application range: Due to its balanced ratio, it can be used at different growth stages of various crops, especially during the nutritional critical period (i.e., the crucial period when crops shift from vegetative growth to reproductive growth), with remarkable effects.

Dosage should be reasonable: Due to the high nutrient concentration, application must be carried out strictly in accordance with the product instructions and the guidance of agricultural technicians to avoid burning seeds, seedlings and roots. Never say "the more, the better".
Deep application and soil covering: Whether it is base fertilizer or top dressing, it is recommended to apply it deeply (usually 5-10 centimeters) and cover it with soil. This can reduce the volatilization loss of nitrogen and improve the utilization rate of fertilizers.
Fertilization based on soil conditions: For sandy soil with poor water and nutrient retention capacity, it is recommended to adopt the principle of "applying small amounts frequently".
Fertilization based on crops: Understand the nutrient requirements of the crops being grown. During specific growth periods of the crops (such as the seedling stage when phosphorus is highly needed or the later stage when potassium is highly needed), other formulations of fertilizers can be used in combination.
