·N (nitrogen) = 25% : This is the total nitrogen content in the fertilizer. Nitrogen is a key element for plant growth, mainly responsible for promoting the growth of stems and leaves and deepening the color of green leaves. The high content of 25% means that this is a powerful "growth-promoting fertilizer" or "green leaf fertilizer".
·P (phosphorus) = 0% : The fertilizer contains no phosphorus. Phosphorus mainly promotes root development, flower opening and fruit ripening.
·K (potassium) = 5% : The fertilizer contains 5% potassium. Potassium helps enhance the stress resistance of plants (such as cold resistance, drought resistance, and disease and pest resistance), and promotes photosynthesis and nutrient transport.

· Strongly promote vegetative growth: The high nitrogen content can quickly make plants (especially foliage plants and lawns) lush and leafy, with dark green leaves.
· Does not promote flowering and fruiting: Due to the absence of phosphorus, it does not stimulate plants to enter the reproductive growth stage (flowering and fruiting). This is very beneficial for some plants that only need to grow leaves in the early stage of growth or at a specific stage.
· Enhance plant resistance: 5% potassium can help plants grow strong and improve their resistance to adverse environments.
· Suitable for phosphorus-rich or phosphorus-deficient soils: If soil tests show that the phosphorus content is already sufficient or too high, continuing to apply phosphorus-containing fertilizers may lead to phosphorus fixation or environmental pollution problems. At this time, using 25-0-5 is very appropriate.

· Lawn maintenance (preferred) : This is the most common use of the NPK 25-0-5. The lawn is mainly for viewing leaves. It needs to be kept dark green and thick, and it is not hoped that it will blossom and bear seeds. High nitrogen can perfectly achieve this, while potassium can enhance the lawn's resistance to trampling and disease.
· Foliage plants: such as devil's ivy, spider plant, turtle-back bamboo, chrysalidocarpus lutescens, various calatheas, etc. These plants mainly have ornamental leaves. Applying this fertilizer can make the leaves larger, greener and more lustrous.
Leafy vegetables: such as spinach, lettuce, Chinese chives, green vegetables, etc. During the growth process, the main goal is to make the leaves grow quickly and tender, and high nitrogen fertilizer is very suitable.
· Gramineous crops (early growth stage) : Such as corn and rice, during the tillering and jointing stages, require a large amount of nitrogen to promote growth.
·As a top dressing supplement: When sufficient phosphorus fertilizers (such as superphosphate) have already been applied in the base fertilizer, 25-0-5 can be applied in the middle and later stages of plant growth to supplement nitrogen and potassium, to meet the needs of vigorous growth.
